How do they become bloated?? I dont over feed my fish.
Shelled pea? Shouldn't boil it First? Blanche it?

Bloating is often caused by most flake or pellet foods, as they are very dry and airy and lack moisture. Bloat is rather common, actually-

You'll want to blanch the shelled pea by putting it in boiling water, 30 seconds for a thawed pea and 1 minute for frozen. You'll want to cut the pea up smaller so your fish can eat it.

The pea doesn't provide a whole lot of nutritional value to most fish, but it provides fiber and moisture and helps bloat.
