What’s Wrong With My Aquarium Plants?

Can anyone help me. I don’t know what’s this brown stringy stuff growing from my plants’ leaves and roots. Could someone please identify the problem and offer some remedies...I’ve attached two photos of two different plants.

 

The first picture looks like brown algae on the roots, and congratulations, the second picture is a baby plant! That brown stuff is new roots.

 

Now that you mention it, you’re right! Those are baby plants. I should have recognized that. Is that normal for them to grow on the leaves? Should I leave them alone? What about the other plant that you said looks like brown algae on the roots? Generally, I think they could do better. The leaves don’t look as good as they could. I have Seachem Flourish but I must confess that I don’t use it as directed. I think the instructions were to use it twice a week but I come nowhere close to that.

Yeah, it's normal for them to grow on leaves, and you can leave them there are they will turn into new plants, fall, off, and continue growing in the substrate. Good luck!
