What’s up with my Mystery Snails

Hello everyone, I think I’m going to feel embarrassed by the answers, but want to make sure it’s nothing bad like a parasite of some sort. What is this on my blue Mystery Snail? Also why is my Golden Mystery snail “frozen” like this?!

I think you may already know the answer...

Pull the snails out, one at a time. Do they retract back into the shell? My guess is you're going to find the bodies are rigid and they don't retract.

**I've had this occur after treating a tank with meds that were supposedly snail safe. Lost a few gold mystery snails that way.

You mean dead? They’re still alive, just never seen them look like that before or that yellow part on the blue snail.

By the pictures, it looks like there's crystalline growth on them both....which I've had on dead snails. This off personal experience.

Other than cruising the tank (see pic), I've never seen one in that kind of pose that wasn't dead. I've caught them in "snex" and also caught one laying eggs on the underside of one of my lids...doesn't look like that at all.

I had checked them and they were alive. It’s weird…

Thank you! At first they weren’t. I have 1 that has recouped, 3 still haven’t so I have them separate. I will more likely do another water change or partial. Any ideas on how I can prevent this from happening again? What is best water care for them? I just want to make sure I’ve done nothing wrong in that department. Thank you!

Would depend on what went wrong since it's affecting all of them most likely water quality issue what was test showing?

Test was showing nothing wrong. However I didn’t test for ammonia before the change. Everyone is thriving again after 6 or so deaths.
