What's up with my java Fern?

So, a part of my java Fern (3 leaves, not spots it's the whole leaf and the stems even appear white) turned white, I thought it was an iron deficiency, but despite dosing iron regularly I didn't see any change, the rest of that plant is okay and the other java Fern in the same tank isn't having any issues. The white one is still growing babies on the leaves which are green (the baby java Fern not the plant) despite the change. I just think it's odd that only that section of the plant turned colors. Even my plants that are typically more sensitive aren't having any issues at the moment. Any thoughts on what's going on?

I forgot to say the back of the leaves is still green and it is as thick of a leaf as the healthy ones

Absolutely I just got one, the darker part is algae, I've rubbed it off in the past and the vein is white too

It looks like a CO2 deficiency, which is weird since java fern needs very little CO2. Maybe your air just doesn't have enough, or something's off with flow?

Interesting, especially since it's only part of the plant and the rest of it is fine. I wonder what's up. Is there any way to solve this without a CO2 injection/canister?

Ps. Pretty sure that's bolbitis heteroclita and not a java fern.

Oh wow thank you! Do bolbitis heteroclita have wider leaves?

They do have different shaped leaves. It's a completely different species although they do have similar care requirements - just didn't want you being concerned that it didn't look like a java fern once it grows a bit!
