What’s this appendage in bladder snail?!

I have had bladder snails a long time, but for the first time they are in a planted shrimp tank that has a lot of algae so they are getting much bigger , and just now I noticed this on my favorite, largest snail in the tank while it was running around like crazy where I had fed the shrimp some pellets. Anyone know what this is?!

 

It's a breathing tube.

No problem, they don't have them sticking out all the time. They're easier to notice on bigger snails like mystery snails.
