Whats The Difference Between A Normal Betta And A King Betta?

this was a day after he died RIP tropical his scales were going up I couldnt find anything so I felt helpless if you know what happened please tell me

 

If his scales were sticking out it was probably dropsy, he was so pretty though.

I thought it was caused by poor water quality but I'm not sure, that's what my other Betta died of. I've heard of bettas getting dropsy even with excellent water quality though, so I don't really know. Someone else will know for sure

OHHHH well everything happens for a reason so maybe something good wants to happen or something

 

Make sure the tank is cycled before the Rams are put in as they are very sensitive.

 

Dropsy is just a symptom of a disease, not the disease itself. It can be caused by lots of things including bad water quality, bacterial infection, a really bad parasite infection and other things.
