What’s The Big Thing Happening In Our Fishroom Currently?

Hi! I was just wondering what projects/accomplishments/things you are exited about are happening in your fishroom? For me I have several things going on right now.
1. I am having a seganal bichir shipped to me for my flowerhorn soon
2. I got some ottocinclus that are really cleaning up the brown algae in my pea puffer tank
3. A lot of fish in my 130 are havin grown spurts right now, my Oscar delta had slowed down on growing a lot for a long time, however I started to feed some beef heart to him and now he has grown at least another inch in the past month, has become much more active, and is eating from my hand again. My lace catfish (featherfin squeaker catfish) have been growing a lot (the biggest is maybe 7 inches now), and alpha (my albino Oscar that I am growing out in a different tank) is almost ready to go in the 130!
4. I think I finally found a solution for the brown algae in my 36 gallon
5. I just set up two new aquariums for two new crayfish that I will hopefully be getting soon.
6. No one is sick!

My fishroom is running pretty smooth right now, what about yours? (BTW here are some pictures of the fish in the 130).

I don't really have a "fish room" since my tanks are spread around the house, but my newest project is cycling two new saltwater tanks. That, and I'm trying to grow green onions out of my filters

Love your fish room, you have so many interesting tanks and you're so organized! Curious what you are keeping on the low table/bench in the 3rd photo.

1. My tanks ( 4 ) are flourishing, little to no algae so I must have achieved the "Zen", all fish healthy and growing and spawning like mad.
2. Spent a lot of money this month on quality fertilizer, 2 types of Thrive and a large quantity of Fert tabs. It'll pay off.
3. Bought another Bristlenose, that makes a Gold and a Brown now for the 40 and 50 gallon.
4. Checking out online plants, as the LFS's are pathetic and they never seem to get in any new stock.

I am keeping misqueto fish in those small tanks, I have had one alive for 9 years in one so I got some others to see if they also do really well, so far so good.

1. Upgrading my 29gal sorority to a 36gal bowfront. Plants are doing great

2. Having 2 more females coming in the mail soon via Vaughn

3. OB peacock fry are starting to show a lot of color. I’ve been working on my strain so I’m excited to see the results

4. Baby bettas are growing fast and looking good

  1. Just got my male pearl gourami and female gold pearl gourami - he's much happier now and he's maturing a whole lot faster too.
  2. Plenty of breeding action. My bolivians, shrimp, harlequins and now even my pearls are breeding like crazy.
  3. I'm thinking of getting a 150 gallon for a red oscar and bichir, maybe something else too - these are the last of the fish I've wanted since the beginning of my hobby that I don't have yet and then I will be satisfied..... until I find another fish I want and then another tank will be needed!
  4. Not much else going on really. All's just pretty balanced with me.

Do you have co2 in your tank Demeter, your rotala looks so healthy... I can't grow it in my low tech with good light.

Everything looks good at a distance The rotala in this tank only lives, not thrives.

This nano tank has much better rotala that often needs trimmed. No CO2 in either tank, just Seachem Flourish.

It seems to do best in medium-high lighting, I’ve tried low light and it doesn’t do well.

Well, my living room is my fish room since that's where I spend the most time.

My Keyhole pair recently spawned and today the fry started to try and swim around on their own (I can tell the parents are kind of freaking out, trying to keep them together). I have no idea what i'm going to do with them, there's about 25. I'm surprised the bristlenose didn't eat the eggs.

I just started this tank about 2 months ago and I can't keep my eyes away after work, and I'm hoping in 2 months the plants would matured

1. I'm raising a batch of what appears to be 100% longfin bristlenose plecos. First time trying this. Hope to upgrade from a 10 to a 29 tomorrow. Also trying to figure out how to quickly get another clutch going so I have a bunch to take in for store credit.

2. Recently added 3 panda cory juveniles into the community tank their parents are in. Hoping to actually try and breed them soon for a bigger yield. Extras will also go for store credit.

3. My sterbaI corys in another tank were spawning for the first time tonight. So of course thinking about that possibility for even more store credit.

4. Got my new young bolivian ram moved from quarantine to community. In less than a week, he and a female were defending eggs. They were gone the next morning though. Still gives me more breeding hope.

5. Got my first live plants in my living room tank a week ago. Hoping they take off. It's a pretty deep tank, so here's to hoping.

6. Thinking about trying out the pothos plant trick on my goldie tank. If it works, I may try to squeeze one more oranda in. Probably won't happen after I think about that a little more.

7. My EBA has almost completed quarantine. So before long I get to see how fiesty it is. Hoping it works out well so I can keep it.

8. My corn snake is also in my unofficial fish room. Last time I measured her, she was just at 2 feet long. Well, her latest shed skin looked particularly...large. So I measured again and the little sneak packed on another half foot already! Going to need an upgrade soon. Probably where all that store credit will go.

9. Had a scare a little while back. One of my orandas got stuck in an ornament. He's just about made a full recovery except for one torn pectoral fin. Not sure if it's going to heal back or not. He still gets around fine and eats and eats...and eats though.

Think that's everything for now.
