What's On Your Daily Menu

Just thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone has on their fish friends menu each day.
I have 12 black skirt tetras in my 46 gallon. I hope to get some Cory cats maybe this weekend and later a dwarf gourami.
I rotate between flakes, freez dried blood worms, peas and just recently got some brine shrimp. I feed the black skirts primarily flakes 3 or 4 times a week. They get the blood worms and peas maybe twice a week. I just bought some dried brine shrimp but I bought the larger ones by accident. They are too large for the tetras. I have to break them up. Their favorite food seems to be the tetra brand flake food.
What's on the menu for your fish friends. I am looking for ideas so my peeps enjoy the dinner time.

Well I don’t have the same fish as you, but here is what my tank gets:

Fish- betta gets 3 presoaked New Life Spectrum pellets morning and night 4 days of the week. The other days he gets enough frozen bloodworms to stuff his belly twice a day. (If you have only tried freeze dried bloodworms, you should try frozen! My fish prefers the frozen over the freeze dried!)

Inverts- My snails and shrimp get a whole array of foods... hikarI shrimp cuisine pellets, algae wafers, various veggies (spinach, cucumber, zuccini, carrots, skinned peas, broccolI stems, and the occasional green bean— all blanched), plus tons of algae and micro crustaceans and such to graze on if they want

 

For my fish I do flakes, brine shrimp, blood worms and bugbites pellets.

 

Daily, I feed Sera San flakes and whatever spirulina flake I happen to have around. I rotate in a bunch of stuff, but my personal favorites (and by my I mean my fishes, I'm not some kind of fish food eating weirdo or anything...) are live BBS, any kind of microworm, Fluval Bug Bites tropical formula and daphnia.

 

Mine gets two different brands of pellets and sinking wafers, freeze dried blackworms, frozen cyclops, frozen bloodworms and frozen daphnia.

 

live blackworms on some days, live daphnia on others.

 

I use:
Flakes.
Frozen brine shrimp and beef heart.
Bottom feeder sticks ( some mix of healthy worms and such).

 

my bettas get bugs and shrimp every other day. one day is frozen mysis shrimp, the next day is live flightless fruit flies (for now, until they all die off lol), the following day is frozen spirulina brine shrimp, then the next day is fluval bug bites. and repeat. I used to feed them frozen daphnia but it's a pain because they're so tiny. they also used to eat frozen tubifex worms but now they refuse to eat them

I'm getting hungry just reading these! Ha Ha! Thanks for sharing. I'm always looking for ideas. Guess I will try some frozen shrimp and worms. I can tell which food is their favorite because when I give them tetra flakes they go nuts. When I give them peas lately they just kind of pick at them and don't really eat them. I even tried to mash them up and saute them with a hint of garlic. The garlic helped a little.

I feed my crowntail Betta in the morning, he either gets 6 Omega One pellets (That sounds like a lot but his stomach doesn't get too big and he has a good metabolism), some thawed bloodworms and I also have the Omega One frozen community formula I sometimes give him little bits of.
