What's on my ADF?

I just noticed one of my ADFs seemed to be struggling. Then I saw white spots. I don't think it's Ich, because I've read that ADFs don't really get it. I suspect is a fungal infection of sorts???? I quickly took him out of the tank and he's in a few inches of water (from the tank). He's in a bowl, formerly known as a punch bowl! I can set up a heater etc, and fresh water. Aquarium salt isn't recommended for ADFs, and the only thing I have is API Erythromycin. It also treats for fungus, according to the package. The instructions read 1 packet (200 mg) per 10g. Well, the bowl holds 1 gallon. Can anyone tell me if I can take the packet and eyeball one tenth of the contents? Or maybe 1/8th of a teaspoon? Here's pics....

Thanks. I didn't think about that. I've seen them shed their skins and it's quite funny to watch. It's like trying to take off a soaking wet sweater that you wore in a shower! Maybe though, that's the early stages of shedding. I hope so. He's in his faux hospital bowl for now and I'm monitoring him closely.

Update. The spots are bigger and I think there are more. He's desperate to get out of the water and there's white fuzz on one paw. He won't eat and I don't have any way to treat him. I can tell he's really distressed, so I'm going to euthanize him. I know some of you won't approve of that, but I believe it's the most humane. Does anyone know if clove oil is a good idea for ADFs, or the freezing method? Urgh. I hate typing that question. I really do.

Have you tried medicating him? I wouldn't go as far as to say he may need to be euthanized as of yet. Unless you've done everything you could. If he has fuzz, it is a fungal infection. Treating with Maracyn 1 and 2 is the safest option for Adf's. But again, if you feel there is no point in return then go for it. I don't know which method is best for them, as I do not have amphibians. Best of luck.

It is really hard to get info on ADF treatments. Anyway, I can't physically access any fungal medicine and I think this has progressed so quickly, that it's sadly pointless to treat even if I could. It's 32F outside, so I'm going to set him out on a piece of saran wrap. I think it will be quick. Am tearing up a bit!!! Thanks.

I'd try to medicate before that if the medication won't help they'll die on there own

I set him outside after I posted. He passed away very quickly. I took pics of his back and tummy. It was horrible close up! Whatever it was(is), was much worse than I realized. Am worried about the other frogs and fish now. I'll keep a very close eye on the them. Thanks.
