10 Gallon Tank What’s Going on with my Coral?

I just got this coral from a trusted saltwater store about 2 weeks ago. I have lighting in the aquarium for about 8 hours a day, sometimes a little more. My coral looks like it’s shedding or something, I don’t know what it is. Does anyone have any idea what the white “shedding” is around the coral? Let me know if that’s normal, or if it’s a problem, how to fix it.
