What would you stock a 75g with?

No small fish allowed and no saltwater. Only rules.

Alright go!

 

I would make a cichlid community tank consisting of:
-1 albino oscar
-1 tiger oscar
-1 jack dempsey
-1 black convict
-3 tinfoil barbs
-5 silver dollars

Those are SOME of the big fish I would consider stocking!

 

5 keyhole cichlids
5 silver dollars
and maybe some bala sharks or large angels

 

3/4 Hoplo catfish, a group of angels, giant danios, BN pleco

I'm not sure if that would even fit, but that would be the tank I would want

 

Electric blue jack dempseys, green terrors, or maybe oscars. Maybe a few blood parrots? The fish would need lots of attitude. Awesome.

 

I would do

1 oscar and a featherfin or larger catfish.
Or
African cichlids.
Or
2 jack dempseys
Or
4 blood parrots
Or
Angel fish with 4 clown loaches
Or
Black ghost knife with some angels or larger gourami

1 african featherfin cat
3 blood parrots
10 turquoise rainbowfish
2 albino long-finned BN plecos

I assume your plecos get along I have heard they can be quite territorial if they are with other plecos

Algae control team (I use amano shrimp and nerites)

That in a fully planted tank is a really nice setup.

 

A lake malawI cichlid tank for sure!! So many bright colors and they like to be packed in. Tons of texas holey rock and caves.

I have no issues at all with mine. Unable to sex them yet, so it could be a romance, or a bromance or whatever...... but they get along fine.

 

A peacock / hap tank. Probably similar to what I did with my 90.

 

I would do a flowerhorn
