What Will It Grow?

So I bought new lighting for my betta tank because I couldnt get replacemenr bulbs for the old one but not sure if its a low light or not. As I know very little about that sort of thing.

 

What size tank?

 

5.5g tank

 

It will be perfectly fine for a 5.5gal tank. If you take the watts and see how many watts per gallon you have then you get a good idea of if its low, medium, or high lighting. This only works for fluorescent lighting though.

You're getting over two watts per gallon so that would be medium-high lighting. Keep and eye on algae growth though, if you had a lower lighting before this light then you may get more algae growing. Just be sure not to leave the light on for more than 6-8 hours a day.

 

I used to have tetras led hood which was a low light. So I will definitely have algae growth but my snails will love it XD
