What Will Bluegill Fry Eat? Question

    I netted some bluegill fry while fishing and decided to keep them. They are very small (about a little under an inch.) So what can I feed them?

    Frozen or live baby brine shrimp. They might be big enough for adult brine if you wanted to try that.

    I got two baby bills gills from my local pond in late may to feed my axolotl and when my axolotl died they survived and now there about 2inches...they survived on leftover pellets and axolotl feces.....I neglected them at the time now they eat culled guppy fry and small pellets for small mouth fishes

    Bloodworms frozen and flake food would be my first options, I’ve had wild caught baby fish start eating frozen bloodworms right away same with some good flake foods

    They'll eat anything that smells/tastes like food. I've put flakes in a wild pond and watched the sunfish come up and eat it.
