Whilst we often say “that’s it I’m at capacity” how often after going to a store for media or food, do you find yourself walking out carrying a little plastic bag of water with a new friend swimming inside!

Maybe it’s a snail, perhaps a neon tetra, or you went all out and got a stingray pup! What was the very last fish you purchased - intentionally or not? (and did you need to buy a new tank because of it haha!)

Mine is a Blood Parrot. The flatmate wanted to call him Eggnog as I said he looked like an egg yolk: orange and round. So he is officially Eggnog, though to me he is Eggsy. :)

A smokey angel and a L114 pleco.

Other than those 2 I haven't really bought fish in a couple years!! My fish population continues to grow and grow due to my angelfish breeding! I just don't have space for more fish! Even with 20 tanks!!

But theyre so cute, how could you say no to such a cute smiley face

As for me... 2 more danios.
Because I don't have enough of them (I now have 11)

But I have a bad habit with cories.
Ill go buy food or prime and I always look at the fish. Ill peek in on the "julii" cories and there will occasionally be one in the tank that doesn't fit with the rest of them. So ill bring it home.
That's how I ended up with my weitzmanI cory (later found a couple more at another store) and agassiziI cory (still a singleton and will likely stay a singleton due to rarity)

To quote my husband:
"YOU DONT NEED MORE CORIES/DANIOS"

Me:
"You can't ever have enough"

This dude. Promised myself I wouldn't get him before I went to get fish food.

And this guy. Always wanted one. Saw it and lost myself. Never going to see him again though. They hide 24/7. Scoured the tank for him today and yesterday. No sign.

A few of my very old pearl danios passed in the last few months, so I bought 5 more. Today marks 14 days in quarantine so I'll probably put them in their new home this weekend.

Thanks! I'm really liking them. Though I never really see the second fish I posted which is a bummer.

Cherry shrimp. Didn’t need any more because they are breeding like crazy, but my LFS has them on sale. Instant purchase.

I bought this baby male KenyI a while back. I really wasn't looking to buy a Mbuna, but who could resist a face like that. Lol.

I just bought 36 mbuna cichlids on Friday the 15. One of them died on Wednesday, Because it was not the healthiest when we got it. Now I have 35 mbuna cichlids and 2 plecos in my big tank. They are pretty active and don't fight too often. They love building homes and of course eating. I have 12 different types of mbuna cichlid. They are all juvenile and are just now getting their color. They are all healthy are turning very pretty.

I saved a betta's life! Lol. Look how pale he was! He was cold and stressed and he's settling nicely into his new home. Big changes in only 12 days. 10 gallon with 3 african dwarf frogs, Larry, Curly and Moe.
