Seeing a big group of Cory cats and one of the SAE or rubberlip usually try to blend in with them. Just Cory cats in general r hilarious… and who doesn’t like a big pile of MTS hahahahaha
Seeing my fish (at least most of them) getting along well together I like to think they enjoy each other's company.

Easy……when my gourami see me and swim to the glass all fast with their pectoral fins spread out like they are about to give a big hug. I know I’m just “food lady” but I love them!

I love watching my betta casually cruise around the tank, under and through the plants/scape before stopping for a rest and repeating the process. He just looks so content taking his time exploring every square inch of his tank, it makes me happy to see.

What warms my heart is when my baby cories watch their parents eating a huge pellet, and then, they try to eat it. The fact that it is as big as their head makes me smile. It also warms my heart when my leopard bush fish "parks" himself in his cave. He goes slowly around the side, then as he turns, he puts the pedal to the metal and zips on in. He's a big goofy guy, not the smartest but adorable. <3
As for the fish, just seeing them be happy fish doing breeding displays, maintaining order etc…

Having my Purple Emperors gather at the glass first thing in the morning when I walk into the lounge.
The other fish don't react like they do....they just carry on with what they are doing but the Emperors always stop what they are doing and huddle at the glass and go nuts
I know its probably only cos they want food....but its also nice to be noticed and wanted by another living being in the flat.
