I think a huge school of neons or cardinals looks great. The flame tetras look pretty neat, too.

Is this a random poll, or are you wanting to add tetras to your stock?

I like my neon's & black tetra during the day, but when the lighting is just right about sun set time, my glowlight tetras are my fav, the orange just bounces off thier bodies and I can see them schooling from the other side of the house.

That one's easy. Cardinals!
The vibrant blue against the full-length red is a brilliant sight contrasted against a densly planted tank!
The bigger the school the better IMO...

I've only kept lemon tetras but I bought them because I liked their shape and red eyes. They school really well together too for most of the time.

Rummy noses. They tend to be right out the front of the tank and moving around a lot in unison. Neons can be shy. I have serpae and congos in other tanks and they look cool but they don't give the mass effect that rummy noses do.

Or a betta, lol. But now they're all friends and are so happy they are all over the tank again. Oh well... better that then stressed and compacted fin bumping school but not nearly as pretty haha.

And I vote black neons, obviously haha. (see below)

lets see.... most cardinals are caught wild but not hard to keep, i have heard neons are hard to keep if u dont treat them right, glowlightes r kewl but hard to aclimate, blck neons r kewl and not much probs and rummy noses r just like glowlights and neons. hope this helped
