What Type Of Parrot Fish Is This??

So I took a trip to my local Pet Supplies Plus and stumbled upon the fish tanks as usual...as I was skimming through all the tanks I noticed 2 unusually shaped fish in the neon tetra tanks. I took a closer look and saw two VERY TINY parrot fish! But what I also noticed is that they were white and they were pink and blue!! immediate thought was "OH MY GOD, they thought they were tetras and dyed the poor fishies!" however I don't really know now..I wanted to take them both since I know I could have easily gotten them for $3 because it seems everyone that works at my PSP doesn't know anything about fish, however my boyfriend said no at the time. 1 month later we went back to pick up some frozen blood worms for my dragon goby and for the heck of it I checked the tetra tank to see if the baby parrots where still there and low and behold the blue one was still there! I immediately took him and easily got him for $2(the tetras were on sale) I took him home and he is doing great!! so my question is, what the heck kind of parrot fish is he? His head shape isn't normal blood parrot its more like a severum! however his body shape is straight up parrot fish! pictures posted show the pink and blue one and the last picture is the blue one I took home!

I'm just going to take a stab in the dark at this but it could be a deformed pink convict/jellybean parrot. It could also be dyed.

I read that he could be a "jellybean parrot" but how come his face screams Severum? Its crazy how much his face looks like my sevs, however he is short and stubby like a parrot lol

Yeah and it may be that he's so young he hasn't taken a good form yet. chromedome probably would be a better person to id it than me.

It is a dyed jelly bean parrot. Jellybean parrots are a hybrid of pink convict and gold severum.

Jellybeans are just spinal deformed Pink Convicts, dyed because they would otherwise just be white. NO SEVERUM IN IT. There were stories that they were crossed with "regular" parrots, but no proof of that, either. They are not facially deformed like Bloody Parrots usually are. The similarity to a Severum's head is in your imagination for the most part; after all, they are distantly related. I don't see it in the photos.

They are also prolific breeders, like regular convicts. You can breed that one with another convict, but the spinal deformity will be reduced in the young.
