What Type Of Light Timer To Get

I don’t like the dial ones. The on and off times were iffy and irregular. I prefer digital timers. I personally use myTouchSmart, which I got at Home Depot or Loews.

I'm gonna assume you have this

Also If so does it keep the time you set it to every day? or do you have to put the time in again every day?

Just buy the cheapest you can find thats all i did and its still working 4 yrs later

LIke this one! Does it loose the programming if the power goes off (power failure) or if someone accidentally unplugs the unit from the power source?
Nope. I actually had the electricity go off for approx. 4 hrs, and it was still working. The timer has a separate battery as a fail-safe. I don't recall for how long it can go without charging in an outlet, though.
