What type of guppies?

My first batch of fry have all grown up now, an although a lot of their parents have passed, I am really happy with these babies, especially the males, I was just wondering what type of guppies they were.

I've called him Kaito (after the vocaloid) and I'm in love with him, he's so pretty and shiny, I have a few blue guppies but none of the males of females that were in the tank when they were born were blue, I only bought a blue female recently who passed before she could give birth, what type of guppy is he?

This one is a bit blurry, he has a black orange and silver body, like his dad, but his tail is strange, he has two long orange bits in a v shape, then the centre is grey, however the centre is shorter than the long bits, he reminds me of an endler guppy but I've only bought regular ones

I have quite a few like him, a few are yellow, his tail is huge compared to the others, he looks exactly like a male I used to have, except there were no orange guppies in my tank when he was born

This is just a pic of my tank overall, I think my guppies are super pretty and I'd love to see yours! Thank you!!!

Ive had some guppies come out like that also. I don't think they are a specific type but more of a mix of fancy guppies.

The one with the large delta tail sure appears to be a cobra. As for getting surprise colors, the mom could have been pregnant in the petshop. Female guppies can store sperm for months and are usually already mated before you buy them, so who knows what daddy looked like. Also, cobra girls have mostly grey bodies, but usually have spots in the tail, so any females like that will likely carry the coloration to future offspring.

If you decide to keep breeding them in the tank, remember that unless you are selective about what colors go in to or stay in the gene pool, eventually they will revert to wild type coloration. Now, many folks think the wild multicolors are really pretty, but its something to keep in mind. Also, if you are successful keeping fry alive, you might want to find a local fish store to offload extra babies or colors you don't want; many will buy them (cheap) or trade for credit that you can use for supplies.

Enjoy your guppies!

From my knowledge:

First one looks like blue cobra mosaic, cobra because of the vertical bars on the body and mosaic because of the bold black patterns on his fins.

I can't see the second one clearly but based on your description he sounds like some sort of lyretail. probably with mixed genetics because of his wild-type coloration.

Third one I can't see his body pattern clearly, but some kind of cobra/snakeskin with a mosaic tail. Technically, the way you can tell the difference between cobra and snakeskin is that cobra has vertical bars (like the first male) while snakeskin has fine chainlink patterns. However, the terms are usually used interchangeably.

They're all beautiful!

Ah thank you, I was really wondering, I give some away to my cousin for his fishtank, and I don't really mind the mixed colours, I'm just really happy I know what kind some of them are
