Hi the other day i was fishing at a lake behind my house and i caught this fish by accident when filling my bucket, can anyone help ne find out what species it is? They were mostly hiding in the lake weeds and the biggest ones i saw were around 3-4 inches, im not sure if they grow bigger than that. Here's a picture:

One of the tilapia species that have invaded Florida.

    Welcome to fishlore!
I agree. I would say Tilapia/Pelmotilapia mariae, a definite juvenile.
