Anyone have any idea what kind of cichlids these are? I saw them at my lfs and wanted to do more research on them at home but I can't remember their name. They were pretty expensive, like $40 each.

It is a color variety of the common Jewel, Hemichromis guttatus. It has extra blue iridescence, but I keep forgetting what they call that strain. I would say they are severely overpriced.
