What type is Rojo?

my fish Rojo, I was hoping someone could tell me what type of Betta he is.

 

it looks like a veitail, but it looks like he might have some crowntail in him

does his tail have spike on it like this (crowntail)

or is his tail smoother and round like this (veiltail)
