My rummynose tetras always took all the pellets before ram have the chance to eat it. My rams only eat bloodworm and meaty food since it doesn't fit tetras mouth. I'm looking for large and soft sinking pellet so my rams can eat it before tetras eat it all.My red nose quiet large about 3-6 cm What would you guys recommend? I'm thinking tetra bits but imt not so sure

I wouldn’t keep Rams with fish like that, but I’d recommend Spectrum Cichlid pellets.

Along with bloodworms and brine shrimp, I give mine Bugbites for small cichlids and they LOVE them.

Too fast for the rams you think? What would you keep rams with?

Kensfish sells grow crumbles for a reasonable price if you can get stuff to swing free shipping.
It is what I feed my rams among other foods.
Rams like small food and to be able to eat slow.
Rummies will not eat themselves to death so you just try adding more food ?
Rams should be #1 in tank and there needs should be accounted for above all other fish in tank IMO.

lol my rummies swarm the food so fast like piranhas . Also my rams always spit out pellets. Not sure why. maybe they don't like pellets

Their spitting out pellets or any food is their form of chewing..
They want and will eat it if they take it and spit it out..
Back to rams like small foods..Chewing is not easy for them unless the piece fits in their mouths...If they can not chew it due to size then they are forced to wait for the water to soften the pellet and we often don't let food hang around long enough for them..
The rummies will not eat them selves to death so let food fall by them to the bottom and watch and see...

they don't spit out bloodworm which is larger than pellets. What food do you recommend for them?

The blood worm is soft already …
I feed kens grow crumbles ,golden pearls of larger size[500-1000 micron] black worm flake and freeze dried black worms.
I use cubes of FD so I stick them to glass and fish swarm to food and take what they want. The blackworms are pretty pricey but good food.
Kens grow crumbles are my go to daily feeding and frozen blood worms as often as I have time for .

Will it work if I soften them up in water before pour it in tank?

Fish need some sort of pellet for nutritional value to remain healthy, bloodworms are great but excess can cause problems. my b.rams like bloodworms but also eat hikarI gold small pellets

It may soften them up for them and work . I pre wet my food for some fish so it enters the water column faster instead of just floating till it sinks.
If the pellets are 1mm or over try crushing them up also. My adult rams [and swordtails] still eat live BBS with vigor..They really love small food.
I agree they do need more then just blood worms ,but when they are nutritionally complete the blood worms can only add to the rams healthy and happiness IMO.
