I have two options, get my angelicus loach 2 more of his own or get a chocolate gourami or a different gourami, the loach is in with a school of peppered corys and he seems very happy and fat but does he need some of his own, He's always swimming of the side of the tank playing with his reflection I think, is this a sign he want some of his own?

I've had my loaches for a short time so I'm no expert. They are 3 angelicus and 3 yoyos. The yoyos are very similar looking at least as juveniles, just slightly different markings. They all interact with one another on a regular basis. Even with tankmates I have a few loaches that regularly go up and down the side of the tank. I've read this is typical for younger loaches. I can't say for sure whether yours will be happy long term with the corys but my loaches seem to be happy in their group of 6.
