Hello,
I got some cheap fish to test with my betta and everthing went good but I don't have the tank to care for the fish anymore. Its a 10 gallon the fish I got were two harlequin rasboras but even if I got there numbers to 5 or 6 wouldn't they need a 20long? if so how do I get rid of them? I have an aggressive betta that would eat them but I would feel bad to feed them to him . the pet store I got them from won't take them back unless there dead

The Petco $1 Per Gallon sale is now.
Get yourself a 20 long.

You could call around to some other shops, some will take free fish off your hands, some even will give store credit for them.

(Most) Petco will take in unwanted fish, I just gave up my guppies and endlers to them.

That's okay but thank you!
I've never shipped any fish so I wouldn't want to kill them plus the temperatures are getting hot here 85-98 degrees Fahrenheit
Thank you for the offer!

There's likely a fish club in your area. Join a club, make some friends, give fish away. Craigslist and reddit also help to hit a larger audience that may be in your area. It's not uncommon for me to make detours while I'm on vacation to pick up some fish ppl are giving away. Any destination near a major city pretty regularly have ppl giving away stuff cuz they're moving/getting out of the hobby.
