How do I kill Malaysian Trumpet Snails ive removed from the tank?

crushing them all seems impractical and I heard putting them into a separate container with Seachem Cupramine won't kill them? I don't want Assassin Snails in my tank either

Way back when I had way more ramshorn snails than I knew what to do with I would put them in a small container of water and pour table salt in the container. It instantly killed them and then I just disposed of them out in my yard. I live out in the country so doing so wasn't a problem.

I now have assassins and a jar set up specifically for breeding ramshorns for them so thankfully no longer have to dispose of unwanted ones anymore.

It would be great if you could just find someone that wants them but sometimes that is just not an option.

Malaysian trumpet snails are one of teh most beneficial snails, they eat any waste that gets into teh substrate and they eliminate gas bubbles. I have hundreds and I don’t ever gravel vac, they do it for me.

I know they are beneficial, and I don't want to completely eradicate them but I have way to many and they are everywhere. They take away from the look of the tank

I would see if there's an aquarium group nearby & if anyone wanted them. Or post it on ebay.

Or you can surrender it at Petco/PetSmart

I have 6 mystery snail clutches. I was talking to their worker & they will take them. They generally give you half cost ( is what I was told). For me, it'll be a break even - food, heat, water chemical. I won't make $$$.

Someone surrendered a 6 inch lobster today- pale blush pink color. Nice looking. I would have purchased him but he needs a larger tank than what I could give him currently.

Man I would take them if I was in your area! Post them on a local fish keeping group or even Craigslist?
