What To Do With Jungle Val

Recently I ordered some plants off an online shop and they gave me some jungle val as a freebie.
However the plants I ordered (anubias nana and java fern) were those that supposedly require low light to grow, whereas online sources about jungle val seem to suggest it prefers much more light than the other two.

This is a photo I took when it first arrived; I've now buried the roots/crown of the jungle val in the gravel in a corner instead of sticking it onto stone with the java fern.

It's been two days and it looks okay so far, but I was wondering if I should move it to a different container that gets more light?
I'm concerned that if I keep the room dark for the anubias and java fern, the val might not do very well, or that if I let in too much light for the val, the other two might suffer.
Also, I heard that it can grow very fast, and thought that my tank might be too small for it.

I’d say your fine. It won’t grow fast since it’s in low light. Your Betta looks a little rough though

Yeah, behavior-wise she's very active but she got in a couple of accidents in the past few months and her fins got damaged.

I went from low light to a higher output light and mine took off after a month or so. I have a 21" deep tank and for the most part it was static, though it did seem to shrink a bit as it acclimated. This past week I watched it grow probably 12" in the course of a day or so.
Yours will be fine. If it ever does get out of hand it's an easy fix to cut it or yank it out.
