What The Heck Is On My Betta's Eye?

I've noticed that on Skittles right eye, she seems to have this white dot on her eye. There isn't one on the left eye. (I noticed the white dot a month ago)

As far as her health goes, she has a great appetite and responds to everyone in a dance like manner. I am aware that she is overweight. I have been correcting her feeding, to which she isn't a fan of. (She eats frozen brine shrimp, bug bites and frozen bloodworms once a week) She had those brown looking lines on her right side since she was a fry.

I guess when she faces her body to the right, she has to immideatly turn around to see her food or me. So I'm taking this dot is blocking her sight.

Her tank consist of a plant and decor as of now and 1 male nerite snail. I used to use some indian leaf but it would always turn to mush within a week...I don't know if that's the issue?

Her water stats are: Let me know if something needs fixing and how.
Nitrate-20
Nitrite-0
total hardness- 0
total alkalinity- 0
pH-6.2

Her temp is set at 78 and her water changes are every other week at about 50%

I know it's not age related since she's only 9mos old.

My betta has the exact same problem. I'm not sure what it is. . Same thing, 9 months old, female and no tank mates. Good water parameters and seems to have appeared within a week.

The only thing I can really think of, is it being some type of fungus. The only problematic thing in her tank is Petco plants and icky pond snails. I'm not sure if you have any plants or snails? I don't know if there's any correlation with the plants and my fish?

(Your fish is really cool, she's like Skittles twin)

Thanks, that's Blossom. Skittles is absolutely beautiful!
I treated for fungus for a week with no Improvement so I'm not sure it could be that. She only has silk plants now and no snails (she eats them)lol..
