You can feed some algae wafers or sinking cichlid pellets.
Will it eat the whole algae wafer cause I have a pleco and a Cory
Yes it will eat.
The whole thing so I'll have to toss 2 at once
Yes you have to.The catfish will scavenge it at night.
According to SF here http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/horabagrus-brachysoma/ they need a meatier diet not algae wafers
I'm so confused who has a eclipse catfish that's who I'm trusting
What are you feeding your fish?
I don't have one that's why
What do you feed the fish you do have?
I don't have any eclipse catfish
You have other fish right? What do you feed them?
Algae wafers alone aren't good enough to be a staple diet. A small sized good quality pellet will be good for all your fish. Also some frozen brine shrimp, blood worms or mysis shrimp would be good treats. A sun cat will eat all of those items. It will also spend most of it's time hiding until it reaches 5" or so which will be a while. I would expect it to grow to 10"-12" in a few years. By then it will have eaten fish or shrimp you may have that will fit in it's mouth.
So what should I feed him live ghost shrimp or cihlid pellets also him much do cihlid pellets cost
No need to feed it anything live and Omega one pellets are less than $10 a can,
