Hey Guys,

Just wanted to hear your opinion on whether or not I should add anything else to this scape (plants, decor, hardscape...).

Thanks.

I guess it would depend on what fish plan to add.

Thanks.
I love plants in my tank so I would add tall wavy stems, and all sorts of ground cover. I like the anubias on the rocks though.

What I would do.

- bury the rocks slighty, this will help create the illusion that it's connected to a larger piece (or together) and the tops are sticking out.

- consider adding some floating plants, to help create interest near the surface?

- some more anubias to fill out the rocks. Could do some nana petite, gold, white, barterI ect and create an anubias paradise with different varieties and create complex aquascape using the different leaf sizes, shapes and colouration.

- consider adding a couple of 'twiggy like' peices that go vertically or near vertically from the substrate to the water surface, which could simulate roots and help decrease the negative space up top - which I find makes it look unbalanced....

Red - wood
Green - floating plants
Yellow - different anubias varieties

Thanks heaps for the reply aussieJJDude

I'll be adding some amazon frogbit to the top of the tank in the near future. I'll also definitely look into adding some more anubias to the rocks.
