As many of you already know, I will soon be getting a 75G planted tank. Currently, I have most of my fish in my 30 gallon tank, with 11 baby angels in my 10G. I have been thinking that once I have my 75G set up, running, cycled, and with all the fish from the 30G transferred there, I can give my 30G a makeover too. I could get higher lighting and Eco-Complete or Seachem Fluorite for that tank too, and get it nicely planted, perhaps? If you're reading this Carol, what do you think of this?
LOL, I suppose I would do this because I LOVE to be setting up tanks; just playing with the water, decor, gravel, etc ... all give me lots of joy (for some reason! ... maybe because I've always loved water and swimming?). And a 75G will give me plenty of space to transfer my fish to if I wanted to redecorate my 30G. Besides, while the amazon swords are not dying in my 30G, they're not thriving either. The driftwood is starting to look worn out. I think my 30G will need this makeover anyway, which is a matter of time. Giving it a lighting and substrate boost can probably make it last in a good shape for a much longer period. And of course ... I'll have something fun to do! LOL ;D
For some reason, I love the look of a tank full of vallisnerias. Maybe I'll make it full of vals (plus a few of shorter plants to break the aquascape a bit)? Just plants and nothing else ... I wonder how that would look.
