I have a load of eggs on a leaf and a log. but I'm not sure who they belong to or what to do with them.

heres my stock list:
1 discuss
1 angel
1 starry night pleco
1 yoyo load
some red barbs (maybe rosy barbs)

I think they belong to the barbs as they have been trying to mate for years.
but I got a few new fish quite recently so not sure if they come from a newcomer.

here are some pictures.

HI there,

I am pretty sure that is a rosy Tetra. Its for sure not a barb. It would also make sense since rosy tetras lay eggs on plants or flat rocks. Nice surprise!

I think its the barbs because you don't have 2 of any other species of fish.

Like MD said, that's a Rosy Tetra (Hyphessobrycon rosaceus) not a barb. And yes, most likely it is the tetra.

Please pay attention to dates. This thread is 2 months old. By now the OP has dealt with the unexpected eggs.
