Hi, I'm floating some fish I just bought and this small snail is in the bag. Maybe someone can identify it. Thanks

Most likely a Malaysian Trumpet Snail.

Thanks, do you think I should put in my tank?

They are considered a pest snail and it may reproduce in your tank if there's enough food. Some people like them though because they burrow through sand substrate and keep it from forming gas pockets, or so I've been told. I don't mind them and don't really have a problem with them as long as I'm not overfeeding my fish.

Thank you. I don't think I'll put him in there. I don't have a sand substrate and don't want to take a chance of having a bunch of them. Lol
