what kind of snail is this?

    this little snail magicly appeared in my tank. i think he came off the new plants i recieved. do you think there will be more of them?

    It looks like a pond snail, where there's one there are usually more.
    I don't mind snails in my tanks they can be part of a useful cuc however if you overfeed your fish the snail population can explode.
    If you don't want them you can put a piece of cucumber or zucchini in the tank overnight & in the morning it should have snails on it which you can remove, it won't get rid of all the snails but can help control numbers

    i dont mind and there are no fish in the tank yet but this tank was ment for puffers so they should get most if not all of them

    Yes this looks like a pond/bladder snail. Really can be a pain to get rid of if your trying to get rid of them. Otherwise I feel like they make a great addition to any tank as a cleaning crew.

    Pond snail for sure. Your puffers should eat most of them.
