What kind of heater do you recommend?

The heater my 29 gallon tank came with is not adjustable. I'm wanting to get one I can adjust, what do you recommend?

 

IMO, you can't go past Eheim Jagers. They are adjustable, and can also be calibrated. (They're also a little pricey)

I also love Hydor Theos for smaller setups, their heaters are physically smaller than the Eheim for the same wattage.

I'm also reading good reviews of the Titanium heaters (I think they're made by Marineland).

 

Jagers are my first choice as well.

 

On a budget, Aqueon Pro's are nice. Plastic means no shattering, and it's adjustable. I've had no trouble with the two I own.

 

Ehiem jager. Best ones you can find.

Found the ehiem jagers on sale! One more question what watt should I get for a 29 gallon?

 

I normally work on around 3-4W per gallon. So a 100W on 29G should work well.

 

Its about $20 plus shipping for a 125 or 150 watt
