Betta Splendens is the species. Do you mean in regards to the color/pattern or tail/fins type?

Edit: How to tell the Tailtype of your Female betta | 168549 | Betta Fish
Perhaps a delta/super delta?
Basically just the color pattern and whether or not it’s male or female, I have seen a few pictures online of short fin male betta and wasn’t sure after that what I had

That’s what I was thinking too but if that’s the variation I have I wonder if it’s male?

I also believe it is a koi betta fish. Here is a link with another picture of one.

Could be koi, could be galaxy, could be no specific pattern. Kois can be either sex. Pretty sure yours is a female. I have a male with similar tail and shape but he has longer, noticeable ventral fins.
