There is a string like algae growing on my anubias nana. What kind is it and how do I get rid of it since it seems my bn and nerite do not seem to eat it.

Not sure of the type algae but you could try a Pleco.
also a little green thumb help for you - Anubias plants grow slow and their leaves don't move back and forth in the water very much, Anubias leaves are ideal places for algae to grow. keep your Anubias plants in areas of a tank that get shade and where the water current is moving moderately.

I have 2 bn pleco in the tank. They don't touch it. And this specific anubias is directly in front of the circulation pump and the filter output.

Black beard algae? That's my only guess, I'm not really good at identification, sorry. lol

 

I know SAE's and Flying foxes will eat it if it is BBA. Sorry I can't help more than that..

it looks like black beard algae. I had some on my anubias too some time ago, and you'll need spot treat it with Flourish Excel. Youtube link below will help. I did the same and it got rid of mine completely. After its gone, maybe you need to cut down your light time to avoid this in the future.
