What Is Your Favorite Fish Supply Brand?

What brand in the fish keeping hobby do you believe has the highest commitment to quality and the best products? You can only pick one. Is it Fluval? API? Hikari? Seachem? Some other brand I didn’t even think of?

HikarI & Seachem. API for some things, but they have a lot of unnecessary "must have"s.

Seachem. I have more of their products than any other brand. Prime is their golden product.

I'm going to break trends and go with aquaone. In Australia, they take the aquatic industry by storm and their products are reasonably priced, and pretty average quality.

 

What about the good ole no name brands, diy and dry ferts. Nothing in my tanks other then the aquasoil (ada in my 10)(the 110g is a noname brand of aquasoil) and lights (wavepoint a chinese brand). Oh and I have purigen in my sump.

Seachem and Fluval

 

Seachem even though I find their marketing jargon extremely annoying.
Vitalis for soft food, as it is a British brand.
New Life Spectrum for pellets. If the fish won't eat it, I know they're sick.
I like German brands for my shrimp.

Seachem has some other good products that people love as well, such as stability, stress guard, and Purigen. They also make a liquid test kit, like API does, but from what I understand they donate a portion of the proceeds from their test kit sales to charity.

 

Half my equipment is some Chinese company sold under another label, and I'm always impressed with what I get from them! But for the namebrand stuff... wish I could afford Fluval because I've always been impressed by their tanks. Seachem of course, and I love HikarI and San Francisco Bay food. But some of my favs are not the big players, but the edge guys like Easy Green. I'm hoping to experiment some more with small company food pellets and other consumables.

 

Fluval? - Over priced but nice products API? Best testing kit out there. Hikari? Uh heard they make good food? Seachem? - Winner, they invented Prime.
