While you're looking up Commodores, check out the VL SS Group A SV (aka the Walkinshaw)
Looks like a boxy Taurus SHO.

I'd go to the gas station and jokingly tell them to fill with oil and add a quart of gas.
Wasn't that long ago 4/80 air conditioning was the norm!Currently I drive a Plymouth Neon. Only thing I'd like to change is to add an AC system. A bit rough driving in 100+ degrees without a cooling system!

Lotus does a very nice job of keeping weight low and distributed allowing their cars to be very nimble. Every time I go up to Chicago I drool at a lot of the exotics that run around town, so maybe one day you will be driving a car that I will be drooling over .
Y'all got no class ]
In the future, I wouldn't mind a Mercedes AMG CLK or SLK will do just nice.
There are... if I can ever scrape enough money together.

It's actually quite torturous to see all the exotics so often. Thou you don't actually see the Lotus' as often as you would think... even around here. Probably something to do with the fact that half of the year there is 10 tuns of salt on our roads. There's a Lotus dealer not far from where I work. One day I think I'm going to walk in there, dressed to the 9's... and pretend I can actually afford one. Then ask for a test drive.
The favorite car I've ever had is a very odd toss-up between my old Jeep Wrangler and my MGB Roadster. Two completely different vehicles but I really loved both of them. I'll never forget when we got a huge blizzard up in northwest CT that covered everything but the tip of the Roadster's antenna. Those were the good ole days.....
Four feet? More? Who can remember? Those were great blizzards. Back when that word actually meant something. LOL
Two years ago was the only time I've not liked my wonderful little Yaris. Something like two feet of wet snow when my wife and a friend and I tried to go see a Harry Potter movie. Got stuck a dozen or so times before finally making it home. The car rides too low to handle that sort of snow. Worst thing was we didn't even get to see the movie. There was a problem with the digital file that kept messing up the projectors.
Beyond that, the cute little thing is wonderful. We get, on average, 5-10mpg better than the listed number, which is about as good as you can get for a non-hybrid car (and is significantly better than some hybrids).
I drive a an 06 silverado, currently being bagged.
One day Id like to have an 06 GTO 6.0
Those are some beautiful cars! How do you like the 5.0? I've driven the challenger srt-8 and camaro ss, but I keep hearing that the mustang wins when it comes to the power to weight ratio. Even a mazdaspeed 3 is awesome, a nice little factory sleeper . I gotta say, I'm jealous.
Alright, I'll add my dream car tie which is between a C6 Z06 (after driving it I fell in love) or an AudI RS6 avant if I could get one imported legally.
Keep them coming!
I'm a huge motor head. I make my living as an auto technician, so I say every car is just as bad as the next! lol. My favorite cars have to be all the DSM's, Diamond Star Motors. They are a joint venture between Chrysler and MistubishI and include the Eagle Talon, MitsubishI Eclipse, Galant VR4, 3000GT VR4, Lancer Evolution and Dodge Stealth VR4. My DSM is a 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. Its still had to find another platform that for less than 5k can run 10's on pump gas!

Someone mentioned the Scion FR-S? I work for Toyota, so I've had the pleasure of driving a few. One thing you need to understand, this is NOT a Toyota, its a Subaru. Under Subaru, it is badged the BR-Z. I have not had the chance to drive Subaru's version. From what I know, the Subaru and Toyota are tuned and suspended differently. The FRS will have a more linear, "Toyota like" powerband and a tendancy to over-steer for the "drift" crowd, while the BRZ has a much more pronounced "Hit" in power and much tighter and balanced handling in the corners. For both, they need more power. Plenty of room for a turbo, but the compression ratio is too high to run enough boost to benefit anything. I feel they left A LOT to be desired in this car. Oh, by the way, spark plugs are due every 30k, and you need a engine hoist to pick up the engine to change them...
I guess my favorite is the 1989 Turbo Trans Am. One, because it's a Trans Am, and two, because with a few simple mods you can get it to run 11s in the quarter mile.
I had to look this one up, I didn't even know they made a turbo trans am. Gotta love simple mods for a fast car, and it seems decent to begin with.
