What is your favorite car?

I am a car guy along with the new hobby of fish keeping, and I was wondering what is your favorite car you own, have owned, or want? If your favorite car is on you own be sure to post a picture if possible.

I'll start off, my favorite is my 2009 malibu LTZ, but if I had a choice of a different car that I could afford someday is a 2006-2007 Subaru WRX STI.

My favorite car is a tie between a Shelby Mustang and a F-150 raptor.

But I still love my little 97 Jeep Cherokee sport that I have now

That is a good choice and very specific .

You could go with both. Use the raptor to haul the Shelby. A jeep cherokee is nice, very reliable runners.

probably a 1969 dodge charger.
Nice choice of an awesome classic!

Haha, track cars are acceptable too. Driving either of those for just one run would make me happy.

To some the citation would be an exotic

Ooooohhhh, cars! Now you people are speaking my language! Lol. Favorite car is really hard to pin down for me. I just love cars, I can appreciate just about anything of any car, but these two are my current faves as they're my current cars! Lol.

1972 Plymouth Roadrunner. Her name is Dolores! She has a 440 HiPo, Hedman long tube headers, 3" true dual exhaust through flowmasters, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, edelbrock 750 cfm four barrel carb, MSD ignition and coil, Hurst auto in floor shifter on a Torqueflight streetfighter transmission.

uploadfromtaptalk1346807850619.jpg

This is my new car. 2013 Ford Mustang GT. With Brembo brakes, 3.73:1 Torsend limited slip rear diff, 19 inch wheels, BOSS 302 radiator, BOSS 302 engine cooler, SYNC stereo, Reverse sensing/ security system.

uploadfromtaptalk1346807893838.jpg

On a side note my last car was a Mazdaspeed3 and man I loved that car. It was stupid fast and just reliable. I loved winning a race and seeing the look of surprise on people's face when they see it was a Mazda 3. Lol.

Those are some beautiful cars! How do you like the 5.0? I've driven the challenger srt-8 and camaro ss, but I keep hearing that the mustang wins when it comes to the power to weight ratio. Even a mazdaspeed 3 is awesome, a nice little factory sleeper . I gotta say, I'm jealous.

Alright, I'll add my dream car tie which is between a C6 Z06 (after driving it I fell in love) or an AudI RS6 avant if I could get one imported legally.

Keep them coming!

Nice, not too many mazdaspeed 6's on the road, at least around here. Mazda has surprised me with their performance line. A GT-R would definitely be a head turner and an amazing car to get ahold of.

yea they only made the speed6 for 2 years. I'm thinking of holding on to it, it might be worth more later down the road. and its paid off after 4 years! god it feels good

my girlfriend had a RX-8 for awhile, it was pretty sweet if it was a lil faster. they need to throw a turbo on that car.

I didn't realize they were made for only 2 years, that explains why I couldn't find one when I was looking. I bet it would be a good car to keep, especially if you wanted to mod it. Paying off a car is a nice feeling, someday I'll be there again.

The RX-8 looks nice and the rotary is an interesting engine design. Rotarys have potential and boost would have been a good route. They should have moved the twin turbo setup from the FD RX-7 to the RX-8. That would have been fun .

I don't understand the fascination with foreign cars here.

I'm 100% American Muscle fan all the way! If it ain't loud, it ain't muscle.

All time dream car for me is a 1969 Chevelle SS. Love that car.

Last weekend we spent the day at the Annual East Coast Camaro Club show.
The rides were SWEET! Every muscle car under the sun to drool over.

I hate muscle so I guess it just one of those things.

my lil 4cyl has over 300hp, all wheel drive, 6speed. iv had it to 145mph. its light and gets 19-25 mpg but I swear it seems like more. that is a perfect daily driver that can still kick butt. it cost me 20k brand new! point me a car that is a better deal brand new. I looked there is none.

edit... see that just looks like a big funny boat to me lol. I like sleek smooth curves. muscle cars don't really have that. they are more square, and I don't really like to sound of muscle cars as I do a import. at least not a properly tuned import.

I've got respect for American muscle, but some of the small foreign cars can be just as fun and fast. There is no replacement for the sound and raw power of classic muscle though. Someday I'll get my project done so I can roll around in that to car shows. The Chevelle SS is a perfect example of American muscle.

I have never been impressed w/ small cars. We had a chance to own a Porsche and it was too boring. No turn on there.

We've owned so many cars, Camaro, Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Regal, Nova, Hurst, 442, big block, just to name a few. Hubby builds them and I drive them.

My favorite car I've owned probably a toss up between my 06 Subaru WRX and my 91 Honda CRX SI.

However if I had a choice... I'd absolutely have to have a Lotus Elise sitting in my driveway. Preferably a blue one.
But again... I have a problem with only picking one choice... so I'd also have to have a restored Delorian just to be able to say I had one. Complete with a Mr Fusion prop attached Lol!!!

I definitely understand, everyone has their own tastes. That is a nice list of cars you've had though. I've grown up around so many types of cars that I like a lot of them, but muscle cars was where it all started. That starting point is a 1970 Ford Maverick in my barn waiting for paint that my dad and I restored. Paint is expensive though, even with good connections.

Lotus does a very nice job of keeping weight low and distributed allowing their cars to be very nimble. Every time I go up to Chicago I drool at a lot of the exotics that run around town, so maybe one day you will be driving a car that I will be drooling over .

Y'all got no class

Favourite car owned is a 1978 Holden VB Commodore, 4.2L V8 naturally aspirated, with Brock exhaust and chrome wheels (wish I had a photo)

In the future, I wouldn't mind a Mercedes AMG CLK or SLK will do just nice.

Or if you like Muscle - a good ol' Holden Ute!

If I could get one, an old VW Rabbit outfitted with a new, environmentally-friendly engine.
For shininess factor, I'd have to go with an Alfa Romeo GT.
For extant environmentally-friendly, I want one of the early models of the Honda Insight, which got absolutely amazing gas mileage. It wasn't popular in the U.S. because it was a 2-seater.
For shiny and environmentally-friendly, I want a Tesla Roadster. Considering, however, that a Roadster costs more than the remainder of the mortgage on my house, that's really not likely.

If GM didn't ruin Holdens every time they were brought into the states I would glady take a ute. I need to look up the commodore, it sounds like a nice car. Also, anything AMG would be nice .

There are... if I can ever scrape enough money together.

Nissan had Twin Turbo 300Zx 2+2s, meaning there are two seats in the back instead of the 2+0, the two seater coupe with no rear seats, all over the world... Australia, Europe, Japan...

Except in America. D'oh! So the only Twin Turbo 2+2s there are in America are the ones that have had the engines swapped from a Twin Turbo 2+0. The 2+2s are nine inches longer than the 2+0s and have proven themselves better for track use because of the more stability given by the longer wheelbase. The best ones for track use are the slicktops, meaning the 300ZXs that have a full roof instead of the standard t-tops. Those are rare in America, however, and they're the same size as a 2+0 but have the full structural rigidity that only a full roof can give you.

But I like my t-tops.
