I can't tell from the picture; as they are a bit fuzzy but maybe slight damage to the gill covering. However I wanted to point out a few other issues with your tank. First rams prefer it a tad warmer and i would up the temp to 28-29c. This might push the limit of your other fishes esp the pepper cory. Second the dwarf gourami can be a bit unpredictable temperamental esp as it ages so some conflict or bullying might occur with that fish. Third rams are very delicate and prefer really clean water so i would try to lower the nitrate a little if possible. Last rams cannot tolerate sudden temperature change so if you do regular water changes it is important that the new water be close to the same temperature as the tank water otherwise you might shock the ram which can lead to a slow death over 3 or 4 weeks period.
