What Is Wrong With Him??

I have a Betta and I have had him for a couple months now and it seemed he has ice so I treated him for ick but I later figured out it was not ick but (I’m pretty sure) hole in the head. I think it was gone but it looks like the ‘ick’ came back!! I am really unsure what is wrong. He seems very healthy, no clamped fins, he is eating, etc.

Going to need a little more info as well as some pics. Tank size? Temperature? Filter? Water conditions? Tank mates?

With his coloration its real to tell but to me it just looks like some scuffed up scales. Ick looks like salt grains. Hole in the head looks like well a hole in its head. Maybe someone on a computer can spot something I can't.

I do not think my water or heat is to blame as I have kept other betta’s in these perimeters and they were perfectly fine. I I kinda bought him this way but I did not notice till after I bought him

Well he used to have a literal hole in his head but after a while of medication that white blotch started growing in the hole

As far as the ick part I can't really tell if the weird looking spots are raised or just some scuffed up scales.

To me, it looks like a fungus.

It does not look cottony but rather it looks to be shiney and on the harder side

Scar tissue? Hopefully not cancer.

Cute boy but a little thin IMO. He belly looks pretty flat, I like to keep my bettas with a slightly rounded belly.

As for the lumps, I can say for certain it is not ick and likely not fungus either. I'd google "lymphocystis in betta" and take a look there. Can't say for sure if that it is the right disease.

Usually it appears as a lump about the same color as the betta's scales. It is often iridescent and slow to grow. I believe it is caused by a virus, so kinda like fish warts. Sometimes it gets better on its own, sometimes not. Does he have a similar patch on his back too or is it just the picture?

Idk what you mean by if it is on his back to or just in the picture, but I will state as what I think you mean. He does not have that type of spot on his backside too, just on his head. I also do feed him plenty, about 3-5 pellets when I feed my normal sized Betta only one pellet ( he is 2in big)
