Hi, I feel kinda stupid posting this as I don’t have a saltwater tank but my 8 year old went to the doctor today and they have a saltwater tank that looks like maybe a 60...75 gallon and they have a new eel. My daughter was so excited and wanted to know what kind it is and of course could not find a picture that looks like it. I found a few close but not close enough. If anyone knows and would be kind enough to let me know it would make her day. I’ll post the best picture I could get but it was shy and mostly stayed hidden behind the rocks. Thanks so much!

Don't know of an eel with a pattern like that. I'd say Pholidichthyidae over eel personally. The convict/engineer blenny, Pholidichthys leucotaenia to be exact. The patterns they can display are quite diverse. Despite its appearance and name its not a blenny, eel or goby. As its pattern can vary so much I'll link some pics that are similar to that one:
