What is this wood?

    Ive found a bush that I like the look of the branches for aquarium use.

    Can anyone identify the type of bush so I can see if its safe.

    Its the twisty woody bush in top left of the pic

    I have no idea what kind of tree it is & even if it was an aquarium safe wood it would need thoroughly drying out for a long time, maybe a year or more before it could be used

    Dont think so, the leaves on this are bigger, around 5x2 inch leaves. Similar branches though

    There are some off cuts from last year, maybe year before that I could use been left in garden
