Umm so I have had this live rock in my tank for two weeks and it has a bunch of stuff on it. Today I was looking it over and I saw this starfish. Can someone help me ID it and tell me how to keep it alive? I am really new and have no clue what this species is. Also it was in a bad stop so the pic is really bad. It’s the bright white thing

That looks like an asterina starfish. Some people consider them pests. I don’t think there’s much you need to do if you want to keep it other than make sure nothing will eat it but it will multiply just FYI!

Asterina Stars, they can be pests for things like Zoanthid Corals and multiply quickly. I have the occasional ones that will pop up in my tank but my Coral Beauty Dwarf Angel and Melanurus Wrasse do a heck of a job keeping the pest population in check, so I don't worry too much about it. When I do see them they are generally cleaning my glass anyways.
