What is this thing?

    It showed up in my saltwater tank same day I added a blue leg hermit. It's small and seems to move around a bit

    Hard to tell, Can you remove it and take a picture of it out of the water? Or maybe describe it a bit to us? How it moves, does it have legs or a skirt like a snail? Is the body segmented? etc

    Definitely some type of Isopod IMO. Better off keeping it out of the tank. There are some classified as non harmful, but I wouldn't take the chance.

    It's about 1cm and has 8 tentacle like legs and 2 antennae

    Aren't seed shrimp quite small? And this guy has a pink shell

    Wait...are you sure? Sure it turned into that I mean and not just a bristle worm popping up in the same area? I've never seen that transformation before.
