Hard to tell, Can you remove it and take a picture of it out of the water? Or maybe describe it a bit to us? How it moves, does it have legs or a skirt like a snail? Is the body segmented? etc

Definitely some type of Isopod IMO. Better off keeping it out of the tank. There are some classified as non harmful, but I wouldn't take the chance.

Wait...are you sure? Sure it turned into that I mean and not just a bristle worm popping up in the same area? I've never seen that transformation before.
