What Is This Stuff On My Plant?!

Its so weird, it starts of white but went brown today
Ive cleaned it all up with a water change, but its like this stringy web like stuff coming off the plant?

Its a 2ft 54L tank with one betta fish in and I'm just having constant problems, I'm hoping ive got the snail problem sorted but again there is these white worms on the glass and this weird stringy web stuff on the plants

Can anyone tell me what is going on in the tank?

Looks like some sort of algae. I would pick has much out has you can then increase water flow and lower feeding if you can. Maybe it came with the hornwort

 

I can't increase water flow, I'm not keen on the filter that I have, its very slow and I'm used to a very fast filter in my goldfish tank
Its a waterfall type but I read bettas don't like a powerful outflow so I thought it would be good

I don't think its hornwort, I think its cabomba?
Anyways ive wrapped it round my root tree thing now, see how long it stays like this, can already see white bits flowing off it

 

Yeah I looked closer and I see that your right. Do your Berta’s seem affected?

 

No my betta seems the healthiest and happiest hes been since I got him

Found 4 bladder snails in the tank today though
I stripped the tank down and boiled or bleached everything before I put it all back, now ive got snails again... I give up!

I had a few pond snails in my shrimp tank and I resorted to every time I saw one just crush it. Now there’s none noticable

 

I don't kill them, I pick them out and put them in a pond

I really like them, they just breed like mad

And what are the little white sqiggly things on the glass??
