What Is This On My Guppies?

I got some guppies from Petsmart today and they had this dark patch on their head. Is this normal?

The dark color on their head is perfectly normal.

I don't know, I got them today. It seems rather red and is in a depression on the head.

 

A depression? In that case could you get a side view photo?

 

to me all guppies have that....I doubt there is anything wrong with them. Search up guppy pics on the not and compare

 

I concur. Guppies have that marking. Some will be more dominate than others. If it’s a flesh wound it will get a white haze over it. They look healthy to me.

After examining my brain probably exaggerated the depression in the head. The dark color makes it seem like a slight shadow.
