What Is This Critter?

    What is this? It is from my outside tank, there is an empty shell on the rim of the espresso cup as well. It has feelers and the picture is the critter from underneath. It moves by rolling and unrolling it's tail.

    Looks like some Mosquito pupae. I hunted down a couple of articles on dealing with them. :>

    Thanks so much, this is exactly what it is. And I was hoping I had something great like daphnia :)
    I am familiar with what mosquito larvae looks like but didn't even think that there is a pupal stage, duh!

    Daphnia look like pinkish fleas and if they were surviving in your tank for more then a few days you have problems. They eat bacteria that feeds on decomposing organic material.
