What Is The Strangest Food You Have Seen Someone Eat?

The strangest food I have ever seen some else eat.

My ex-wife used to eat peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

Maybe I don't get out much, but that was really strange to me.

Gator meat. Doesn’t taste like chicken. Reminds me more of catfish.

As far as what grossed me out, my friend eating a plate of chicken feet, like it was chicken curry.

My brother eats weird combos. Bellpeppers with yogurt sandwich, bellpeppers dipped in yogurt, or a honey mixed with cream cheese toast.

Edit: Oh yeah, my mom ate balut (a partially formed chick in a egg that's boiled alive and eaten). Have fun searching it up.

Had to look that one up, here is a list of Ingredients:
Yeast Extract, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Malt extract,
Colour (E150d) Sulphur dioxide, vegetable extract, onions, celery,
niacin, thiame, riboflavin, folic acid.

Sounds like most of the same ingredients found in a bottle of cold beer.

Most of the people in my family eat pig blood pudding...
What else in in the pudding? Not sure what to think about this one....

Being Chinese I've seen a lot of stuff being eaten. Like cutting open a snake and eating the organs straight up...wow.

I've had steamed pigs blood before. I've tried to eat durian and that was terrible. I've been served durian cake at a wedding and I hated that so much that I thought about taking back the wedding gift.

I remember when I was with my mom at China in the Dongguan area...there was a lady there with a pot. She was sitting by a cow who was urinating into the pot. She waved at us and I waved back, you know...to be polite. That night we ended having dinner at that lady's house with the cow urine...served us soup.

My mom served me cow testicles soup before, to increase sperm potency. I've had a mix of fish guts and sea cucumber...just terrible stuff.

I've also been served at a restaurant Olive Fried Rice...what the heck?!

Asians have the weirdest foods. There's also the weird asian medicinal dude with a bunch of drawers full of dried stuff. I've seen dried seahorses and bats on sticks. I love durian! It tastes sweet, the smell is kinda bad though.

I know what you mean. I've seen them, had them and have some in the house. The herbs are a mainstay...they are bitter but people swear by them.

Eating raw fish is common nowadays, so I wouldn’t call it unusual. This video, however. . . she made it so weird and creepy, lol.

Well I haven't had a meal I could chew the food and swallow since February 8th of this year, when the quacks fix me I'm having a big hunk of Prime Rib. Anybody gets between me and that meat they will be looking down the barrel of a 45.

I love "strange", and exotic foods, ballut is good. A lot of asian foods are considered weird and strange and people say they will never eat them because they are disgusting. I personally like those foods, maybe because I grew up around them, but heres a tip. Never call food, especially exotic meats, disgusting, it is food, just appreciate it. Just saying, don't mean any hard feelings from this small rant.

well...that is just different than what I said above, starting to contemplate that post.

In my hometown, these wouldn't be called unusual if served on a dinner table: chicken feet, chicken head, balut, monitor lizard, frogs, snails, cobra, python, water beetle, mole crickets, locust, curdled pig's blood bbq (betamax), chicken intestine bbq (isaw). And years ago before it was made illegal, dogs were also on the menu. And yeah, I actually tried most of these.

Threads like this seem to pop up every 6months or so.

Ive eaten every part of the chicken including the head and feet, I'm not a fan of feet in general but my wife loves chicken and pigs feet. Ive had pigs ears, ducks tongue, fish head and eyes, raw lobster while its still alive watching, scorpions, crickets, seahorse, snails, rat, wild deer, wild boar, crocodile, pigeon, quail eggs, emu, kangaroo, australian bush tucker, jellyfish, bullfrog, ****, testes, damdalions and heaps of other wild weeds/plants.

Its all pretty normal for me now after 14yrs in china.

Sounds like what we would call Black pudding here in the UK. It's very popular here, and delicious.

I have eaten rattlesnake, alligator, frog legs and escargot but I have never had sushI and don't think I ever will. I want stuff cooked. There are a lot of things people eat that I won't touch. Oysters, anchovies, asparagus, broccoli, insects, any kind of internal organ, kI'm chee, head cheese, limburger cheese, chitlins, hot sauce or anything too spicy, the list goes on and on. I think the most disgusting things I have ever seen people eat, not in person but in videos, are caterpillars and large spiders.

Pickled herring has always been a New Year's staple in my family and I love it.

The strangest flavour (to my palette) that I ever tasted was durian fruit. Kind of like garlic, onions and sweet custard. I wouldn't say it was an odd thing to eat since it is very popular particularly in Asia, but not really my cup of tea.

Vegemite and Marmite are pretty much the same thing. An online friend in Australia sent me some vegemite to try and I hated it. She asked me what I thought of it and I said it was fine,---- for wheel bearing grease.

Wait a minute....An ashtray or the contents of an ashtray? The only ashtrays I have ever seen where made of something uneatable, like pottery, glass, plastic or metal. But the contents of an ashtray as disgusting as it is, I could see some idiot eat if the stakes of the bet where high enough.

How about ketchup on scrambled eggs, when I was a kid, I knew another kid that ate scrambled eggs with ketchup. It grossed me out, so I unfriended her.

I do too. I have never been a fan of mac n cheese. Ketchup makes it much better. I love ketchup. On eggs though? No, I have tried it and just, no. Burgers, meatloaf, especially cold meatloaf sandwiches, fries, those are pretty much the only things I use it on.

Contents. Should've stated. Same person I also saw eat steaming horse poo too, then proceed to go and ask a girl if he could have a chip. Amazing.

Actually mustard would be better on eggs than ketchup. When you make deviled eggs, you use mustard so what's the difference. I love deviled eggs, but, I hate egg salad, go figure.
